How it works
The first stage of the program is conducted entirely online. Its goal is to train and guide the startup to prospect business partners in the target country. Forty startups are selected to receive technical and collective mentorship and training in how to make international pitches. They participate in a business agenda organized by a matchmaker and other activities.
The 15 best startups from the Virtual Mission will enter this stage that includes in-person and online activities to intensify the training and promote immersion in the innovation ecosystem. The entrepreneurs will participate in an international mission, during which they will visit innovation environments, meet with some of the main actors in innovation entrepreneurship in the country and have the opportunity to make an in-person presentation of their business to investors, and potential clients and partners.
Landing-stage support for the 5 startups that stood out in the immersion. The goal is to encourage their back-to-market strategies and help them to deepen the relationships and business opportunities that were made during the Immersion Mission. During this stage, the companies receive matchmaking services that allow more business agendas in the destination country.
After the experience in the international market, the entrepreneurs receive support in validating the internationalization strategy, attract investment, and to export to or incubate in the destination country. In addition, the program’s organizing institutions and partners can offer local services.
